After many years in the background, satin brass has emerged as a finish that is being utilised across tapware, hardware, lighting and accessories particularly in the past 12-18 months.

Copper had a short lived focus but satin brass is expected to stay around as it has a sophisticated appeal and works so well with dark cabinetry and finishes that are being embraced more and more.

Marina Isles has stocked brass, antique brass and satin brass hardware for a number of years, and we are pleased it has pushed to the forefront of designers palettes.

We can re-finish most hardware in satin brass to order, although we recommend using solid brass base products to achieve the best possible result.  Note that all brass finishes are “living finishes” and will change over time.  Lacquer will protect the finish but will also wear in time.
